About
princeton international relations council
The International Relations Council (IRC) is the main student organization dedicated to promoting dialogue and cultivating student interest in international relations on Princeton’s campus and beyond.
IRC runs as a subsidiary of the American Whig-Cliosophic Society, the oldest political and debate society in America.
We oversee the Princeton Model United Nations Conference (PMUNC) and the Princeton Diplomatic Invitational (PDI), our high school and collegiate MUN conferences, respectively. IRC also runs Princeton’s competitive Model UN team and sends members on international trips to places like Madrid, London, and southern France. Along with our MUN conferences and competitive MUN team, we host a speaker series to connect students directly with relevant professors and professionals!
