Soldiers, Searchlights and Secession: The Indo-Pakistani War of 1971
Yahya Khan's Transition Cabinet (Pakistan)
Yayha Khan takes the helm of the country after the troubled last few years of Ayub Khan’s tenure in government. He is committed to transitioning the country to electoral democracy, but the political factions in Pakistan are becoming increasingly polarized – especially between the East and West. His Cabinet brings together different parts of the Pakistani administration and military personnel, hoping to maintain Pakistan’s territorial integrity while moving towards representative democracy.
